Who are we and how it all started?

Ski Aiguille is an owner-managed family business, in operation since 2011.  Scottish roots, Ski Aiguille is run by Andrew Alderson, Owner and his sister Claire Stevens, Operations UK Ski Aiguille really came about from Andrew having lived in Chamonix for a season, his love of the Alps and passion for skiing. With an entrepreneurial background and a heap of past experience in travelling the world, working in conflict zones in far flung countries, banking, finance, and military training, Andrew’s motivation and vision was the green light to set up Ski Aiguille.

Teaming up with his sister Claire, with her past experience and training in a variety of hospitality establishments and running her own business, the combination of brother and sister works well as it allows Andrew to focus on growing the business and his other projects whilst Claire wears the many hats of operating the day-to-day operations of the business whilst also liaising with our property management staff and clients.

The business began with turning a rundown townhouse in the Centre of Chamonix into two rental apartments, Our Penthouse and Garden Apartments.  Both Andrew and Claire were heavily involved in all aspects of the build, from construction through to now occupation.
